Shame on you, Pat Robertson

And shame on all of us who do not stand up and say this is wrong. For those of you who may have missed the brouhaha, yesterday on The 700 Club, Pat Robertson called for the assassination of President Chavez of Venezuela. Mr. Robertson is the founder of the Christian Coalition. While our Constitution protects his right to say all manner of outrageous things, scripture say "Thou shalt not kill." The integrity of my faith demands that I stand up and say that this is not a message from the life and teachings of Jesus Christ.

Mr. Robertson, you do not speak for me or any expression of the Christian message with which I am familiar. Perhaps the folks at the ABC Family network need to hear that from lots of us. Here's their feedback form.
